Five Days WORKSHOP on “Office Automation”


A five day workshop on “Office Automation” was conducted from 23/1/2017 to 30/1/2017 by the department of Computer Science and Engineering, ATMECE, Mysuru. The event was inaugurated on 23/1/2017 in the college campus by Dr. L Basavaraj Principal who was the chief guest. The function was presided by the organizing chair, Prof. M. S. Veerendra Kumar, Head of the Department, CSE. The Coordinator for the event was Mr. Anil Kumar BH, Assistant professor, Department of CSE. Teaching Staffs of Department of CSE were the resource persons for the Programme. The Resource persons and the topic covered by them are as follows:

• Mr. Anil Kumar B H -windows commands on 23/1/2017 and Microsoft Outlook on 30/1/2017

• Prof. M. S. Veerendra Kumar Head Department of CSE– Microsoft Excel on 24/1/2017

• Mrs. Archana M R – Microsoft Word on 25/1/2017

• Mrs. Impana Appaji - Microsoft Power Point on 27/1/2017


The event was attended by around 35 Non – Teaching Faculties of variousdepartments from ATME Engineering College, Mysuru. Ms. Keerthana Asst. Prof., rendered the invocation and also welcomed the gathering. Ms. Shruthi P Asst. Prof., proposed the vote of thanks.

Three days “Workshop Mela”


Three days Workshop Mela was organized in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at ATME College of Engineering, Mysuru. Two different workshops are organized for Computer Science students of 4th semester, 6th semester. The First workshop on “Career Guidance – Finding and Getting Right Jobs ” is organized for 6th semester students and is conducted by Mr. K S Manjunatha, CEO, I-Quest, Mysuru. and his team. The Second Workshop on “Basics of Object Oriented Programming using C++” is conducted for students from 4 semesters and a team Asst. professors from the department namely Mr. Anil Kumar B H , Mrs. Sneha C R, Mr. Ajay Kumar, Mr. Kiran B, Mr. Sharath H A & Ms. Keerthana M M are the resource persons.


Dr. L Basavaraj, Principal, ATMECE who was the Chief Guest of the event in his inaugural address he said the importance of organizing such workshops and students should gain knowledge from such workshop in developing academic projects. He also said students should come forward voluntarily in organizing such events which will help them in building their career.

On this event CSE department News letter “CS MAIL” Volume 5, Issue 1, was released by the Chief Guest. The newsletter highlights the activities of the department, achievements of faculty and students during past six months.

Prof. M S Veerendra Kumar, Head Department of CSE, presided over the function. The event is coordinated by Mrs. Sneha N P, Assistant Professor Department of CSE.
