Decennial and Founders Day Celebration



ATME College of Engineering, Bannur Road Mysuru- celebrated Its 10th Anniversary as “Decennial & Founders Day Celebration” on 10-10-2020 at the college premises, During its journey from 2010-2020 the Institute has achieved various milestones such as acquired NBA Accreditation, ISO certification, received award for Swach Institute by GoI,
Remote centre for IIT Bombay, Nodal centre for Nain, GoK and Virtual Labs, has set up CISCO Centre of Excellence and has several MoU’s with major industries.


Dignitaries of the event inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp. College trustees Sri. L Arun Kumar, Founder Chairman; Sri K Shivashankar, Founder Secretary; Sri. R Veeresh, Founder Treasurer, Mrs. Nooreain, Sri. Dhirendra Kumar Mehta were felicitated for their contribution in up bringing the institute to its present status.
Founder staff Prof. Veerendra Kumar M S, Former HoD CSE and Dr. Srinivasan K S, Founder Principal were also felicitated during the event. Dr. Syed Shakeeb Ur Rahman Executive Council Member, VTU Belagavi was the chief guest and Dr. L Basavaraj, Principal presided the event.

Dr. Srinivasan K S shared his memories about the initial set up phase of ATME. He said ATME started with a goal of rendering quality education based on humanitarian values. On this occasion Dr. Srinivasan K S handed over a cheque of amount Rs. 3000 as a token of appreciation to be handed over to Mechanical Engineering topper.

Prof. Veerendra Kumar M S shared the memories of his journey with ATME. He thanked management members for giving him the opportunity to be part of ATME family. He also emphasised on the futuristic view of ATME management in development of the institute. Prof. Veerendra Kumar M S also offered a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 to be given every year for the best project in Computer Science Engineering department.

As part of this event a Decennial Celebration Logo was released by Sri. L Arun Kumar Chairman and Souvenir was unveiled by Sri K Shivashankar Secretary ATMECE. Mrs. Nooreain addressed the gathering and said she is fortunate to be part of ATME trust and wished all the best for the institute development.

Sri. Dhirendra Kumar Mehta addressed the gathering and said ATME was started as a non profitable organization to render quality education to the society.

Sri L Arun Kumar addressed the gathering by mentioning the challenges faced, opportunities and accomplishments during these 10 years. He said that ATME has reached a development phase and is heading towards an exponentially growth. He thanked Dr. Syed Shakeeb Ur Rahman for his selfless contribution right from the inception of ATME. He also mentioned the contributions of everyone involved directly or indirectly with ATME. As part of this event Sri L Arun Kumar announced formation of layout and allotment of sites for the benefit of faculties. Sri. L Arun Kumar also discussed his road plan for coming years and wants the institute to acquire Autonomous Status by 2022-2023
and University in future. He introduced a new entity to ATME family “Samagra-Academy of Higher Education and Innovation” offering various science and commerce courses. A foundation stone for constructing an Amphitheatre in the college campus was also laid during this occasion.

Dr. Syed Shakeeb Ur Rahman expressed his happiness over culmination of 10 Years by the institute. Dr. L Basavaraj, Principal, ATMECE, presided over the Function. The program commenced with welcome address by Dr. Rathnakar G, Dean Student Affairs, ATMECE. Ms Keerthana, Computer science & Engineering Department rendered invocation, Mrs. Bharathi B, Civil Engineering Department and Mr. Abhilash G, Electronics and Communication Engineering Department executed the program as master of ceremony.

The program concluded with vote of thanks by Prof. Devaraj M R, Mechanical Engineering Department. Deans, HODs, faculties and staff were also present on the occasion, students joined the function through you tube live.
