ATME college of Engineering has organized a talk on “Legal Rights of women” in Association with National commission for Women, India  for Engineering Students on 20th Dec-2018 in the college Auditorium.

During inaugural address  Chief Guest Mrs.B S Jayashree, Honorable District and Sessions Judge, Mysuru mentioned  about the various acts that are available to safeguard the interests of women. She adviced the students to respect  Parents, Teachers and elders.


As a part of this function a quiz competition was conducted in the college to the students and Prizes were distributed by the dignitaries .The prize winners are Huda Mohammedi (1st place) , Pavithra K (2nd place) ,    5 students received 3rd place.


Dr. L Basavaraj , Principal, ATMECE presided over the function.  In his presidential speech, he mentioned that women are handling key responsibilities in various fields. He also mentioned that good number of achievers can be seen various areas like Science and Technology, Sports etc. He advised the students to reach high.

The function was organized under the guidance of Dr. Bhagyashree S R , Professor, Dept. of ECE, Chair person of NCW Committee,ATMECE, Mrs. Shobha, Advocate and Notary , Mrs. Devika, Advocate , HOD’s of various department , Coordinators of the function and students of various departments  were present.

Over 500 people, students and staff, gathered at ATME to celebrate International Women’s day

Chef Guest Dr. Farath Khanum, Scientist ‘G’ DFRL, Mysuru inaugurated the event. Addressing the audience, she dwelt on the problems faced by women across time and transitioned to speaking about the challenges that exist for women in today’s society. Dr. Khanum acknowledged the battles fought by women to further the cause of women empowerment in India. She went on to appreciate the college for celebrating this important day.

Dr. L Basavaraj, principal of ATME, presided the function,  in his speech, he lauded the heights that women have achieved in politics and other spheres in spite of the lack of a level playing field.

Dr.Bhagyashree S R was the organising chair of the event. Priyanka,N B,  Sneha N P, Shruthi H G, Darshini M B, Pooja M, Arpitha D and Sushmitha K R were coordinators of the event.

Various events like Throw Ball, Dance, Debate, Quiz, Ethnic Walk, Rangoli, Dumb Charades and Cooking without fire were conducted for students and staff as part of the celebrations.


As part of the “Swach Bharat Mission” initiated by Government of India, students of 7th Semester Electrical & Electronics Engineering, ATME College of Engineering had organized and participated in “Swach Bharat Abhiyaan & awareness program” in Mellahalli village, Varuna Hobli, Mysuru recently.

Dr.Parthasarathy L, Head, Department of EEE flagged the cleanliness drive. Students began the cleanliness drive from Shri.Mahadeshwara vidhya samsthe upto Mellahalli. After cleaning the surrounding, the school children were given awareness on the do’s and dont’s to maintain the surrounding clean. The program continued in the village, where students cleaned the local surroundings and educated people about the harmful diseases like dengue, malaria due to stagnant water and to segregate dry and wet waste. The people aired their grievances due to the inefficiency of local authority to maintain village clean and welcomed that such initiatives will educate people and also civic bodies to keep the surroundings clean.

Gram Panchayat Chairman Manchamma, said that initiatives from Gram panchayat have been taken to uplift the present situation and will strive to keep the village clean. Members Prasad M, Lekamma, Nagamma and all village heads, Faculty and Staff of department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering were present during the cleanliness drive.


ATME College of Engineering, Mysore, organized Blood donation camp in association with Indian Red Cross Society in the college premises recently.


Programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries of the dias.


Dr.Shyam sunder, Life Member, Blood donation camp, Indian Red Cross society, While addressing the gathering he said “Any healthy person with minimum body weight of 45 Kgs can donate the blood, some people believe that they will feel weak after donating blood. Just eat a small snack and drink plenty of water before and after the donation of blood”


Dr.Pranesh Member, Indian Red Cross society briefed about the importance of Blood donation, and how it helps the patients, Blood is essential for life it contains of red blood cells that transport oxygen, white cells that fight infections, platelets to help in blood clotting, and plasma that carries nutrients to the body.


Dr.L.Basavaraj Principal, ATME, presided the function, in his presidential speech he said                         “There is no substitute for blood it cannot be manufactured in a laboratory , when you donate blood, you will be giving the most precious gift to someone else the gift the life.


Mr. Shashidhar S Ghokle co-ordinator of the programme, More than 110 students along with faculties of ATME were donated their blood in the camp.


Invocation song was presented by Mss. Sumana,B S Asst.Prof Dept of E&C, Mr. C. Chandrashekar. Lecturer Dept of Humanities warmly welcomes the gathering and hosted the programme.  Mr.Guruprasad Asst .Prof.dept of E&C briefed the profile of the Chief Guest. Ms.Priya.M.S. Asst.Prof  Dept of E&C proposed vote of thanks.


ATME College of Engineering is celebrating the extravagant cultural Fest ATMEya-2K17. On this occasion of the Fest a Cultural programme was organised by the College with the theme “ AMAR JAWAN”.


As a part of this Fest College honered the survivors of martyrs of Indian Army and as a token of respect Financial assistance is provided.


Mr. Vipulkumar, Inspector general of Police, Southern Range Mysuru was the Chief Guest and Mr Vashista N Simha cine actor & Ms Aishwarya Gowda Miss Karnataka-2015 were the Guess of honor.


This programme was preside by Founder Chairman of ATME Sri L Arunkumar. Sri K Shivashankar Hon’ble Founder Secreatary of ATME, Sri Veeresh Founder Treasurer, Sri Venkatesh H Trustee of ATME,  Dr L Basavaraj Principal ATME and Dr L Parthasarathy Chairamn Cultural Committee graced the occasion.


The Chief Guest addressed the gathering and urged students to be service oriented. It was also appreciated the honoring of the survivors of martyrs of Indian Army as initiatioan. Mr Vipul kumar also mentioned students have to develop both communication and computational skills.

Mr. Vashista during the speech appreciated the theme AMAR Jawaan” and honoring the survivors of martyrs of Indian Army.


Many cultural events like Intercollegiate Fashion show, Fusion dance and solosinging were held during the program.


On 06-01-2017 the HOD and Staff members of Mechanical Engineering Department
planted 50 numbers of various types of Plants inside the School campus. The saplings
were brought from a nursery at Rangasamudra near Bannur.
