Professor
The professor’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching a requisite number of graduate classes, assisting with the development of course material, supervising postgraduate students, regularly publishing journal articles, serving on committees, attending conferences, writing proposals for grants, delivering presentations, and handling other administrative duties.

Education Qualifications: | – | a. Ph. D. degree in relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch.
AND b. At least 6 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals and at least 2 successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisor / Cosupervisor till the date of eligibility of promotion. OR At least 10 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals till the date of eligibility of promotion. |
Experience: | – | Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor.

And Curriculum Development b) Developing Learning Resource Material & Laboratory Development c) Students Assessment & Evaluation including Examination work of the University d) Participation in the Co-curricular & Extra-Curricular Activities e) Students Guidance & Counseling & helping their personal, ethical, moral and overall character development f) Continuing Education Activities g) Keeping abreast of new Knowledge and skills, help generate new knowledge and help dissemination of such knowledge through books, publications, etc. h) Self-development through upgrading qualification, experience & Professional activities.
RESEARCH & CONSULTANCY a) Research & Development Activities & Research Guidance b) Industry sponsored projects c) Providing Consultancy and Testing Services d) Promotion of Industry Institution interaction ADMINISTRATION a) Academic and Administrative Management of the Institution b) Policy Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation and promotional activities both at Departmental and Institutional Level c) Design and Development of new Programmes d) Preparing project proposals for funding in areas of R&D work, Laboratory Development, Modernization, Expansion etc. e) Administration both at Departmental & Institutional level f) Development, Administration and management of Institutional facilities g) Participating in policy planning at the Regional, National level for development of Technical Education h) Helping mobilization of resources for the institution i) Plan and implement Staff Development activities j) Maintain Accountability k) Conduct performance Appraisal
