ATMECE Donated semi Fowler bed to District Administration for COVID Care.
ATME College of Engineering has extending its helping hand to the District authorities in its fight against COVID by donating 75 No of Semi fowler bed worth Rs.10.18 Lakh to take care of COVID 19 patients.
Responding to the call of the District authorities to Industrialist and Philanthropists to join hands in strengthening the Mysore City’s health infrastructure, Management of ATME College of Engineering immediately rose to the occasion and contributed towards it. Amid lockdown and non-availability of men and materials ATME College identified and persuaded the vendor to supply 75 No of Semi Fowler beds.
Speaking on the occasion Sri. Arun Kumar L, Chairman of ATME College of Engineering said he is deeply moved by the suffering of the COVID 19 patients in the recent times in getting proper health care. Sensing the of the overburdening of the Health Infrastructure, he decided to make a small contribution towards city’s health infrastructure.
ATME Charitable Trust, which is managing ATME College of Engineering, is a philanthropic organization, involved in many Humanitarian, Benevolent and Socially Responsible activities.
Every year ATME College of Engineering Celebrates its Annual fest with a Social Responsibility theme thereby inculcating sense of responsibility towards the society among its students.
Every year College is Organises free blood camp, free health Check-ups and Free Eye Check-ups in Collaboration with NSS and Red Cross.
Live to thrive – Awareness campaign about drink & drive, Amar Jawan – Providing Financial assistance to the needy families of the Martyrs, Lead the Blind – Helping the blind students, Save the Wild – Campaign to save the endangered animals & adopting animals in Zoos, are some of the social responsibility themes adopt by the college during its Annual Fest celebration over last few years. Apart from this ATME Colle of Engineering has adopted a Govt. School in Melanahalli and provided basic amenities and Infrastructure to the School along with free Computer training and awareness in Modern Technology for their Students.
To promote the talent students the ATMECE has come up with a scheme called “Vidyaasare” in which the meritorious students of PUC / CET will be given free education including free transportation under Management Quota. Around Rs.60.0 lakh of Scholarship has given for more than 50 talented students since 2018.
