NSS Unit of ATME College of Engineering, Bannuru Road, Mysuru, was organized a Webinar on “Patriotism & Moral Education” by Swami Shivakantanada Ji, Correspondent, RIMSE, Mysuru in commemoration of “Republic Day“and 75th Independence Day “Azadi Ka Amruth Mahothsav”.

Resource person His holiness Swami Shivakantananda Ji in his discourse he shared his thoughts “Patriotism is the feeling of attachment and love to one’s country. It encompasses devotion and robust support for the nation. Love and dedication towards a country is an integral part of our growth of the nation. Moral values are very important in shaping integrity and virtues in the society.

When integrated in the Education system, more-so from the early stages, it can really go along in building a patriotic and virtuous society. Moral, ethical and social values are very essential to be taught for children at an early time of their development so that they become deeply rooted in their lives” More than 250 students along with Staff members were participated in the webinar, Dr Rathnakar G, Dean Student Affairs, ATMECE, and Mr. Chandrashekar C, Faculty Dept of Humanities, Mr. Rudresh A.N, Faculty Dept of Civil & NSS Program Officer and Mrs. Shruthi H G Faculty Dept of Civil Coordinated the entire event.
