Associate Professor

The Associate Professor’s responsibilities include teaching a number of classes and seminars, attending conferences, conducting research, and supervising students. You should be able to collaborate with colleagues, advise teaching assistants, and tackle several administrative tasks.

The Job: Associate Professor
Education Qualifications: UG B.E Programs

    • Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch

AND

    • At least total 6 research publications in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA)

    • BE / B.Tech and ME / M.Tech in relevant branch with First Class and Ph DOREquivalent either in BE / B.Tech or ME / M.Tech and PhDORBE / B.Tech and MCA with First Class or equivalent in either BE / B.Tech or MCA and PhDORMCA with First Class and PhD or equivalent, in appropriate discipline Post PhD publications and guiding PhD student is highly desirable

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

    • First Class or equivalent in Masters Degree in Business Administration or equivalent and PhD or equivalent, in appropriate discipline Post PhD publications and guiding PhD student is highly desirable.
Experience: UG B.E Programs

    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at least 2 years shall be Post Ph.D. experience.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA)

    • Minimum of 5 years experience in teaching / research / industry of which 2 years post PhD experience is desirable

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

    • Minimum of 5 years experience in teaching / research /industry of which 2 years post PhD experience is desirable.
    • In case of Architecture, Professional Practice of 5 years as certified by the Council of Architecture shall also be considered valid.

ADMINISTRATION

  • Academic and Administrative Management of the Institution
  • Policy Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation and promotional activities both at Departmental and Institutional Level
  • Design and Development of new Programmes
  • Preparing project proposals for funding in areas of R&D work, Laboratory Development, Modernization, Expansion etc.
  • Administration both at Departmental & Institutional level
  • Development, Administration and management of Institutional facilities
  • Participating in policy planning at the Regional, National level for development of Technical Education
  • Helping mobilization of resources for the institution
  • Plan and implement Staff Development activities
  • Maintain Accountability
